A Note on Insurance
Oak Grove is currently a private-pay practice. Many families submit claims to their insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We're happy to provide documentation (super bill) to support that process.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
We work with infants and young children, primarily from birth through early childhood. Most of my patients are referred for feeding difficulties, but I also see children for speech and language development. I also provide lactation support to new mothers. If you're unsure whether you or your child will be a good fit, I'm happy to talk it through.
-
We start with a thorough evaluation, not just of your child, but of your whole feeding or communication picture. I'll spend time listening to your concerns, observing your child, and gathering the history I need to understand what's really going on. From there, we'll talk through what I'm seeing and build a plan together.
-
We are an out-of-network provider. Many families can use HSA/FSA funds or submit claims to their insurance for reimbursement (based on your specific insurance and plan). I'm happy to provide the documentation you need. If you have questions about your specific plan, I'd encourage you to call your insurance provider before your first visit.

Before opening Oak Grove, I worked in a pediatric hospital in the Los Angeles area, one of the most demanding clinical environments in pediatric medicine. I spent years working with young children and infants with the most complex, high-acuity feeding challenges. That experience shapes every evaluation and every treatment plan I create. Families come to Oak Grove when they want that level of expertise, and when they want it delivered with warmth.

For infant and young child therapy and hands-on lactation support, in-person visits are typically required to conduct a proper evaluation and provide meaningful care. We can discuss what makes sense for your situation during a free introductory call.

We do, within a five-mile radius. Please see HOW IT WORKS for details and pricing.

Every child is different. Some families see significant progress in a handful of sessions; others benefit from longer-term support. After your initial evaluation, I'll give you my honest assessment of what to expect and what a realistic plan looks like for your child.
-
Yes. Pediatricians see your child for a few minutes at a time. Feeding and communication are nuanced, and early intervention makes a real difference. If something feels off — even if you can't fully articulate it yet — trust that instinct. That's exactly what I'm here for.
